Filming Schedule
Film schedule

When filming, a schedule
it is very important to make sure that all of the scenes are filmed especially
well for continuity, so that the cast and crew can prepare for shooting
efficiently. As you may only have locations for a short time, planning is
essential; this kind of preparation also separates the professional from the
amateur. It is also useful to organise the times in which the cast and crew are
needed, as well as to plan out where all the shots will be filmed, on which day
and location. This will help make filming much more organised and easier for
everyone to understand the times and the locations in which they are needed.
As a group of students
we did not completely follow the schedule, this was due to unpredicted events
such as exams or assessments. On some days we ended up filming much more than we
planned, putting us ahead of schedule and forcing us to make changes. On other
occasions we came up with different ideas to what we had originally planned, as
some shots did not look as good as we had thought, so for this reason we carried
a black book with all the changed times and locations to our schedules and new
ideas in order to complete the filming within our
deadline.
For example we
decided to film on the Embankment as we thought that the lights from the bridges
and the London Eye would work well in our music video.

This post demonstrates a sound analysis of what a filming schedule is. You have also considered some of the reasons why your schedule didn't go to plan but this must be explored in more detail. How did you and your group overcome this issue/when did you refilm?
